First application is called "Gistory" and it is based on learning foreign languages by creating stories supported by pictures or videos.
In this app, there are featured gistories that you can study or you can also create your own gistories. These gistories can be a story supported by pictures,videos or audios that you choose the way the story goes. On another way,they can be questions supported again by multiple sources.
You can add Youtube videos,images or audio to make it more interactive. Another option that you can do in this app is being able to add questions in two different ways.Multiple choice questions or true-false questions..
For instance, i tried to create a gistory which is based on "Winnie The Pooh". In my gistory, i planned to use three different videos which are based on three characters: Tigger, the Pooh and Piglet.I used the videos of Tigger, Piglet and Pooh. In these videos, characters are singing a song about a specific action or object and repeating some specific words.At the end of the videos, there are questions for that specific actions and objects.In this way, i thought that it could be more helpful to recognize words for children using their two senses (listening the words and seeing the action or object).
This app is available for IOS and Android. However, there are some technical issues about adding chunks which cause creating gistories easily but when these issues are fixed, this application will be used effectively.And it will be really good tool for the field of foreign languages learning.
